Life. My half brother John turned up after getting his DNA done with my heritage. Showed up on my first cousins my heritage. It was known that my Dad possibly had a child or two before getting married to mum. It was the usual story Oh don't marry a Catholic. Anywayninfot my DNA done via my heritage, gained a brother. So now I have 2 brothers and two sister in-laws and another niece. I'm wrapt we all are. The family have been more than happy to include John.
My Dad n mum have passed away. My Dad's name was not on Johns birthday cert sooo... All turned out good. We have met maybe about 5 times. Great to include as he had been adopted out so we have adopted him and his wife back into our family wrapt to adopt back in

Life I'm adopted and did my DNA to confirm my birth parents and find relatives and heritage etc turns out between both my birth parents I have 14 half siblings and have met all but 1 of them.

Life My twin and I did it 7 years ago. On our 40th birthday, we both got an email saying 'this is either you or you have an identical twin'. Mum was told we were fraternal when we were born. We took the test to prove all the people who insisted we were identical wrong. 🤷♀️. Oh well LOL

Life thanks 4 sharing this book. It brought me 2 tears as i remember my mum and her 10 siblings with my grandad lookng after my grandma who had dimentia at home for 10 years. Good sorts on one news did a story about my grandads dedication lokng after my grandma. Thy were married 4 60 years.

Life. My Mum is in the late stages of Dementia. I just turned on the radio and heard this interview. Mum has been in care since Nov 2020, Dad also was incare with her for 15mths till his passing in Feb this year. Mum loved God and even though she cant talk I play hyms for her and she can sing some words and will hum along. I can see the pleasure in her eyes. It makes the visits a little bit easier.
