The first thing we did was taking photos of houses without or low fences. No electric fences.
People with onesies in Pack'nSave. We collect all the fuel savings vouchers, thinking they will all add up to a 100% discount 😂
Cars stopping at crossings, and giving way to the right.
Trains running and being on time although the Kiwi with us, was upset because it was 3 min late.
Got caught believing that you need South Island dollars when traveling there.
Walking under trees without the worry of a snake.
When you hear something at night it's most likely a cat or possum, not an intruder.
Just the general freedom here and feeling safe.

Migrated to NZ from Fiji 20 years ago and went to school here, man had a shock of my life as to how behind they were. I remember in my economics class Mrs Smith is handing out the text book and I'm taking out my own text book from my bag and got into trouble, she started questioning me where I got the book from and why I writhe all the answers in there. I had to explain to her that I have done this 1 year ago.

Life. Arrived 2023 just before the Rugby WC. Expected the best rugby nation to be hyped up, flags and people wearing black and white, media build up in anticipation. Shocked at how stale, negative, critical, and demoralizing the fans and media is. The response to poor Sam Cane broke my brain, and the aftermath of the lost final was an eye opener.
Safe to say I am a Japie from World Cup champ country. Love Deon

I have a reverse story - a kiwi friend living in Colchester walked everywhere in bare feet - his church took a while to adjust! I lived in Scotland and a visitor to my flat was horrified that I answered the door in my socks! (Feet must be safely encased in appropriate footwear in the UK.... !

I have been married for almost a year and what are my projects for this year is to put up my wedding photos on the wall. The reason why is because we spent a lot of money on our wedding photographer therefore I want to maximise these photos. The cool thing is about these photos is that they are editorial so I guess they are an art work in it self
