Rhema. Hi Gary. Enjoyed your talk with David Hammond. Listening to him saying where he went wrong reminded me of a wonderful dvd I have called 'The Story of Amy Carmichael and the Dohnavur Fellowship'. Amy went to evangelise in Japan I think it was. She dressed like a nice English lady with nice gloves. An elderly lady she was trying to evangelise was so fixated on her gloves and wouldn't hear the message. She learned from that and never did it again. God bless. Lynne

Gary, when I was a new born again Christian, and hungrily reading the Bible, πthe LORD gave me a spiritual revelation.π₯
I saw, π from the Heavenly Holy Bible, π a passage in my Bible where the disciples came to Jesus and asked him, "Teacher, tell us, what is the secret of life?"
Jesus answered them and said, "There is only love, or the lack of love."

When I tell people they say that we must NOT add, NOR take away, anything in the Bible ( Revelation 22:18&19) but I am merely telling the TRUTH!
I am quite confident that one day Jesus's words will be revealed to the world somehow. They desperately need that message and to apply it to their lives!
And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which r NOT written in this book;
but these r written that u may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing u may have life in His name.

Rhema. Comments. I agree with those you've just read out. I feel it's a barrier and turns people off. Happy to have phrases thrown in for us to learn and make part of life, but now at work and at church and yes on radio it's in our face whether we like it or not. It's intrusive and a barrier and we don't feel we can speak up against it. My children all have partners that are MΔori or part MΔori and some grandchildren go to Kohanga which is great for them and I'm made very welcome there. I love languages and people groups and have tried to learn a few languages but I wouldn't go around quoting sentences at people who don't know the language... Thanks for the space to speak...

Rhema I seen the horrific footage of the assassination of Charlie and instantly knew he was done. I wept and thought of his poor wife and children. The time between the shooting and the confirmation of his passing felt like forever. Some sources said he was still alive in that time and the whole Christian community online was praying for him. Wasn't a surprise once the news came out he had definitely died but felt like a very dark hour.

He thought I was pretty mean at the time but he would have been in the States when UT happened. They had visited the twin towers one or two days earlier
