.life hi, this text is towards the marriage get away that was adverthis morning. I'd love to go with my husband. We've been married for 16 years, together for 19. There is a lot we could get from a get away like this. We've never had a weekend away since having kids and that definitely leavea a strain on our marriage. I'd love to grow closer to my husband and rebuild us for our family. Thanks for this opportunity from Focus on the family.
Life good afternoon Holly sounding great 👍 I have just released an album if you want to check it out search Mike Davies Soul Wash 😀 God bless 🙌

LIFE I was listening to Brett and Kate Ryan on your morning show this morning and would love to win the free marriage retreat! I think it just may be the catalyst/hope we need to finally move forward and out of our mess. We have always had a decent friendship but due to some things that have occurred we are on the edge of the end. Neither of us want things to end but I feel I've done all that I can think to do to help us move forward - we need restoration and we need God! It would mean so much to us to win tickets to this retreat as I don't think my husband would go to one unless an opportunity presented itself in this way, and in my mind I see it as the last chance at our marriage becoming inspired to heal, after spending the last 15 years in grief, hopelessness and not knowing how to move forward.
.LIFE I worked this out . Thanks to God for you guys.
Comparing songs - now that's of the world isn't it? GOD LOVES ALL THOSE SONGS YOU PLAY ON TRACK AND then they disappear.
Well that's my message for now.

Please consider us for the marriage retreat. We are stuck in a downward spiral and desperately need help.
Life. Morena this is my application for the castaway marriage retreat. It is for a couple my wife and I have known for over 20 years that we have been who have been paying for the last 5 years. Without going into details they have unresolved relational issues, the death of a mother, have been raising three kids (14, 12 and 7) and do not have any family support so haven't been out together alone if at all. The husband still attends church, home group, and keeps their kids a part of the church community. I believe the wife maintains her faith but has not attended church for years and again harbours some 'disappointment' for the years through which her mother had cancer and died last year. We have gone on a weekend marriage course with them a few tests back where they made some progress and who knows what this opportunity could do for them but I know Christ does. We (including our kids who are of the same age and their friends) love them and we have so much hope that they can heal their relationship through this vertical relationship with Christ

For the marriage getaway I would love to be considered. My husband and I are in such a busy season, with two young kids, two businesses (one just getting started and the other very busy), and my side hustle. We are struggling to find time for ourselves and within that we have a communication mismatch. I would love to do the getaway to show him that counseling is not scary and find a way we can get our communication improved, as well as drawing closer to God and having a minute to breathe. We have a strong marriage with lots of love but need better tools to grow together.
It's right before my birthday (16 oct) and would be the most amazing present.
Thank you and God bless, Michelle
LIFE Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to win a marriage retreat! I believe any couple would absolutely benefit from this experience including myself and my husband. Although I would really love to nominate our friends Brenden and Stephanie. We have known them for around 18 years. We meet at church and have become so close. They are really struggling with their marriage, more so than ever. Considering breaking up but know it's not the answer. They are so stuck and not sure how to move forward. They have 2 teenage children, so trying to navigate this stage with them as-well. We have been praying that God helps them as individuals and that their marriage will be fully restored, and that they find Godly fulfilment and a new found life within their marriage. I know that they wouldn't be able to pay for this as finances are tough as Stephanie has been off work due to a foot injury she is recovering from. It would be such a blessing for them to receive this gift ❤️ thank you for considering them! Elizabeth

Hi just heard the marriage counselling giveaway opportunity at Castaways:
My partner right NOW is in a hernia operation. I need a hip replacement and a week ago unbelievably got a DR appointment at the SAME TIME to try and escalate the urgency of the op due to the pain I am in. My doing this caused a huge rift in our relationship. My husband was very angry with me. I am stuck in flight mode when he gets angry - and usually run away ( sometimes for days ) . How do we address this I wonder ? I know it sounds selfish that I took that appointment . He has a lot of family support but I don't have much - friends yes but family not so much . I have a faith and so does he . I am sensitive and his outbursts really affects me. He has a heart of gold but you know I have to admit I almost wished he would pass away in that operation so I wouldn't have to deal . The night before the op he called me from the motel and I went in to stay with him. ( we live in a small town 45 mins from a city )
should we stay in this relationship - how can we learn to communicate better .

This couldn’t be perfect timing coming up. I would absolutely love to bless a marriage/ couple with this . Recently my best friend has been coming to me asking for advice around her marriage. She feels it’s on the rocks and even having thoughts of leaving. She has said many times she is done but I can tell that it's really the last straws
They have four young children and a beautiful Christian whānau who are in the valleys and crisis. They both come from difficult situations and upbringings of what marriage looks like and which have played a huge part in their marriage. My friend recently lost both her parents to cancer and feels as if she doesn’t have anyone to go to. Unfortunately our church doesn’t have counciling or offer marriage services and so I just know that this is such an answer to prayer. I have been praying for them and for answer / help and I just know they need a Holy Spirit intervention.
I honestly know this retreat along with the Lord would help save their marriage.
For a couple who is battling and not having the right recourses or support around them to help!
For a family so desperate and in need

I would love to be able to go to the marriage retreat. My husband and I have been married for 8 years, and we get very little time to invest in our marriage. We have 7 children 3 are on the AST spectrum. We are a blended family. 5 of the children are from my first marriage which was a very abusive relationship which has left me and my children suffering with PTSD. I think my husband deserves a break and a little time with just me. He is a wonderful step dad but it's a lot of work. Thank you for considering us

Life we would love to be considered for the marriage retreat. We have been married for 18 years and have two teenagers and don't find the time to talk much and just roll through situations without taking the time to talk and get on the same page and pray. It would be an amazing opportunity to reconnect, talk about our relationship and where God fits in and to also work through how to support our teenagers although this faze in their lives. To be able to find ways to model a good relationship to them at the same time as growing closer ourselves. I've grown up in the church with good role models but my husband came for a broken family and came to Christ as an adult so navigating expectations has always been hard for me. Thanks for the opportunity to be considered. Sarah & Craig
Life this is for my friend who has confided in me her marriage struggles. The two of them have a faith but are still figuring that part out. They have two young boys, one who has significant neurodivergence that has been a big stressor on them. I would love to gift them this getaway as it may be something they can't say no to (as the husband has been avoiding counseling so far). I would love to help them have the tools to communicate better to each other and find each other again. Thanks, Amy.

Desperately need to win the pass for our friends who have hit a HUGE rut in their marriage, comms have stopped, relationship has halted & they need fresh input to get them back better together before it's too late.
They have 3 amazing boys & busy lives.
They know Jesus but challenges have pulled them apart.
Please consider Mr & Mrs Q through my entry, for the Focus on the Family marriage retreat- they will go out of respect & I believe this is where they will remember why they fell in love in the beginning plus they need a good Blessing time together
Thank you
Kind regards

Hi guys, we would love the opportunity to put some more strength into our marriage. We are pretty good - been married for 17 years and chugging along okay, choosing each other every day. But we have no time for each other or ourselves. We haven't had a weekend away since I was pregnant with our second son back in 2013! We have three boys and a very busy life with international students, work, including my husband's shift work so we don't get to talk much about important things or even little things without interruption or the need to get something done!
Thanks for considering us and thanks for the info on the journey programme today! 🤗 Anna and Adrian
.LIFE we want to go on the marriage retreat because we have been caring for a foster child for 3.5 years and we are worn out and need a reset. The foster agency have said we need to get ourselves more calm and supported otherwise we can't care for our child any more. We are also having a baby in March so the timing is ideal.
Life. Marriage retreat. Would love to quite hesitantly (lol) attend this with hubby Sam. I think our marriage is not too bad but with a teen daughter quickly growing, incorporating more of God and His ways to set an example might be a good investment for her and her future marriage choice. Thank you for this opportunity 🥰 Michelle Ong

Marriage retreat.
I would love to put my husband and my name in the draw to go along to the retreat.
We have been in the thick of raising our young family from an early start in our marriage (married 12 years with 4 beautiful kids) and it would be amazing to reconnect, chat about some niggles and come away inspired and refocused on a God centred marriage.

Life Marriage Retreat - Honestly, my husband and I are currently ready to pull that parachute. We had a tough night last night, so to turn the radio on this morning and hear about the retreat and marriage, it seemed like God was really speaking to me through it and urging me to keep fighting.
We don't have the extra money to get there ourselves, so I thought I'd message in and give it a try. All in God's will and timing. God bless, have a great day.

Me and my wife would love to attend this marriage course for a few reasons, to get more tools to help us in the day to day, to invest intentionally in US, and to grow in our love for eachother and to make Jesus more at the centre. Thx. Michael
