Rhema. Another topic you may wish to discuss with maxim or other. How can Rhema call itself a faith based charitable community while it is increasingly commercial, and with reviews going on how many Christian charities, including churches will qualify for tax exemptions going forward?
Also, James says that a double minded man will not receive from the Lord. With one breath Rhema says "We are a listener funded community" and with the next it says "Place your ad here" and "For less than the price of a coffee you can advertise across 5 platforms". As a listener I hear that saying. "We don't care a hoot about our listeners, and we will sell off their ears, time, hearts and minds for whatever money we can get." The Rhema advantage road show with its 70% discount is an abomination to me. I doubt if I am the only one who hears it that way. Denis again.

Rhema. Sorry Andrew, I have been listening, I do like most of your interviews, but as I increasingly do these days I have just turned the radio off again because I get really tired of hearing the same irrelevant and annoying ads over and over. I may turn it on again at 8 tonight for the family hour and the chucks, or perhaps for Joyce before then. For much less than I give to Rhema each month I could purchase ad free YouTube and make a playlist for myself. This has long been on my mind to tell Rhema.

Re coffee spend.
I realised I was spending over $1,000 per year on takeaway coffee. So i did two things.
1. Stopped buying takeaway coffees.
2. Bought an espresso machine for $1,000.
Ten years later still going strong. Beans cost $20 per month, the whole family are now expert baristas and we all make our own.
