I returned to the faith and love of Jesus Christ after my father passed away in 2018 with my Mother. Through my faith, my son now 16 was baptized in 2023. I feel he is losing his faith due to the loss of 3 grandparents 2 in the last year and one just this month October. Pt3. emotions and testing times, he had no role model of what a healthy dad looks like and is trying to parent with his own wounds still, and no tools. Hes a good man and loves our almost 14yr old boy, he just doesnt know how to communicate with him or understand or boy's heart or point of view. I would love for them to have this time away together just enjoying being together, bonding without the stress or without other kids scrapping or pulling away attention in the background. Both my husband and my boy really deserve this, and watching them at each other both hurt and angry, breaks my mother/wife heart. Thank you for your consideration and hearing out my long message . Pt2. My son is the eldest of our 3 kids, he is a good kid and helps a lot, often carrying the weight of the 'eldest child'. Our house is often intense with exhausted close-to-breaking parents, and kids that only get the dregs of what's left from their mum and dad. We are trying to change our situation for next year so we can be around more and have a better family environment. I watched my son and my husband absolutely losing it at each other in the weekend and it terrifies me that my husband will lose his son if he cant learn how to help him transition into a young man. My husband was beaten by his stepdad until he left home as a teenager so he doesn't know how to love his son through his emotions &testing times

I would love to be able to send our teenage son and my husband on the adventure experience. My husband works 10hr days in a job that is taxing on his body and not great for his mental health. He's always tired and we're in a season in our life where we have an incredible amount of stress, are about to lose my income as ive hit burnout and am now having heart issues along with everything else, we purchased land to build on a few months ago and now need to sell our house before Christmas and before we run out of my income which pays the mortgage. Life: JH experience
A critical time in my son's life, turning 16 next week. He's currently swaying between two friend groups (one positive Christian and the other party etc influence). He sees me only when he needs something (mum). I currently feel like a doormat and longing for connection with him. I'm praying for a deeper relationship between us but also that he'd experience Jesus in such a real way that it jolts him back on track. As a family we're also navigating parents being one year separated.

Hello my name is Jenny.
Our cat, Sky, is a beautiful tortoiseshell. We found her hiding in a small bush near our church, and it seemed like someone had abandoned her.
She was in poor shape—she had an eye infection, fleas, and a fever. We took her to the vet to get her checked and treated, planning to put her up for adoption once she recovered.
But as Sky got better, we completely fell in love with her and couldn’t bring ourselves to let her go. Now she’s a beloved part of our family.
She does have one bad habit—she loves scratching the carpets—but we wouldn’t trade her for anything.
