I got scammed on trade me I thought I would be cool and smart and get my wife sorted for Christmas and I brought her what she really wanted which was a thermomix thermomix turns out people can steal other people's trade me accounts to look legit and then once theyve scammed you they will reset the account back to the original person
I lost $1700 and couldn't get it back

.LIFE we had a guy years ago claim to be “Andrew from AMI” who’d ring around 12:30 every afternoon wanting to speak to my mum and that the payment couldn’t go through because the bank account number had an issue! I ended up calling AMI after he slipped and mentioned a bank we weren’t with!

My daughter was cleaning out our cupboard and told him to throw it away...he said no its a family heirloom.

LIFE - I have x25 50 cent coins! My great grandmother gave them to my grandparents on their 25th Wedding anniversary in 1972, my grandparents gave them to my parents on their 25th anniversary and my mum gave them to me on my 25th anniversary. There is a hand written note from each generation saying who they were given to, on what date and by whom. There is an instruction on each note that they are to be passed on to the next family member that has been married for 25 years 😊
