Hi Gary,
My dad lived to the great age of 95, and could still sing in harmony well into his old age.
I remember standing next to him in the family pew, listening to his lovely voice, harmonising all the grand old hymns.
Mum would play the piano on Sunday evenings and we would
sing along, my brothers both inherited the gift of harmonising, but sadly I didn't.
We sounded pretty good I think!
Rhema My dad doesn't sing but he plays the tuba, since he was early teens. By age 16 he was playing for the country brass band and going to Australia. One day in Aus there was a huge thunderstorm. Head under covers under pillow eyes shut you could see the blue flash. Two band mates went for a walk in the storm. Came back white and shaking. A lightning bolt struck practically in front of them making a huge dent (dad saw it) and they barely escaped with their lives.
Rhema. Cath here. My dad was an amazing musician. Could read and play Mozart, but could also play by ear.
He taught me and now I'm a school music teacher and lead a worship team
Life - likes to eat out of the rubbish
Life My husband loves to tell dad jokes, probably because we always laugh! (Especially me!) one of his favs: What do you call a fish with no eyes?

I'm always amused when media and or govt are slamming supermarket profits, I know as being self employed, if you don't make a profit you go bust, just look at the amount of closures of cafe/ restaurants lately to see that.
Gross turnover doesn't always relate to huge profits.
I have inside information that at the moment, one supermarket brand that for them every $1.00 made at the moment it is costing them $1.03.
I don't like big food prices either but it's not always the supermarkets fault.
Blessings Ross.
